Our pieces are designed to fit and flatter across all stages of pregnancy and postpartum. Rather than sizing to a single moment they are cut to move with your changing body.
As a general guide:
S fits UK 6 to 8
M fits UK 10 to 12
L fits UK 14
Buy your pre pregnancy size. Our clothes are designed to accommodate a growing bump and continue working beautifully postpartum as your body finds its new shape. The adjustable details and natural fabrics mean the fit adapts with you.

Nomadic Mother was built around the belief that fashion should do less harm, not more. Here is how we try to live that.
Every piece is made from deadstock fabric — remnants left over by high end brands that would otherwise go to landfill. This means the fabric that wraps your body is not only beautiful and high quality, it already existed. We simply gave it a second life.
We only select fabrics from natural sources — cotton, linen, viscose — which means they will biodegrade in time and are kinder against your skin, especially during pregnancy and postpartum when sensitivity is heightened.
We source our fabrics in the UK wherever possible to reduce our carbon footprint, and every piece is made in our small East London factory — a place I have visited myself and trust completely. UK manufacturing means better working conditions and fair pay. That matters to us.
We make in batches of 25. Never more. Small batches mean less waste, more intention and a piece that feels genuinely special rather than mass produced.
We do not do end of season sales. Our pieces are core lines designed to stand the test of time — not trends to be discounted and discarded. Occasionally we offer a voucher code to celebrate or thank a customer, but we will never devalue the work that goes into each piece by marking it down for the sake of it.
Our packaging is made from recycled paper because the thought that goes into the clothes should extend to how they arrive at your door.

We recommend a cool gentle machine wash at 30 degrees . Lay flat to dry to keep the shape and avoid shrinkage. Do not tumble dry.
Natural fibres will thank you for a little extra care and will reward you with years of wear.

"There is a real element of fun in this dress. I love how the bold ric-rac makes the print pop. It would look beautiful worn to a wedding or styled down with denim. The mixture of colours in the print is gorgeous and I love the soft painterly effect. The sleeve shape is to die for, a true statement without being unflattering, and the slight wrap across the bust flatters a fuller bust. The breastfeeding access is so discreet you would never know it was there."

Designed and made in the UK. Forever pieces.
I spent over a decade in fashion before I became a mother. And when I did, I could not find a single piece that made me feel like myself. So I built Nomadic Mother — slow fashion designed for the whole journey of motherhood, from the first trimester to long after the feeds have stopped. Made in the UK. Natural fibres only. Small batches, no waste, no compromises.
